Hawks Fall 1-0 in 3C2A Second Round

Evergreen Valley College Women's Soccer (9-8-5) finished its season in the second round of the 3C2A Playoffs, following a 1-0 loss to top North-seeded Lake Tahoe (18-1-2) in Folsom on Saturday afternoon.

The eventual game-winner came in the 54th minute off of the boot of Jenni Arias. After tallying just one first-half shot, the Hawks outshot Lake Tahoe 5-to-3 in the second half.

Goalkeeper Sophia Diaz made five saves on the afternoon.

The Hawks were making their ninth consecutive 3C2A appearance for Coach Felicia Perez.
