Nine Honored by Coast

EVC Women's Soccer saw nine players honored by the Coast Conference on its postseason all-conference team for the North Division.
 
Earning first-team accolades were forward Bianca Ahumada and midfielders Naomi Wright and Venessa Pena. On the second team were forward Samantha Wallace, goalkeeper Sophia Diaz, and defender Jalissa Reclusado.
Honorable mention selections were freshman forward Rubyna Mamarian, and defenders freshman Jazlyn Yates and sophomore Mariah Espinosa.
 
Bianca Ahumada led EVC with 18 goals, while Wallace had a team-best 10 assists. Mischa Diaz and Mamarian each had eight goals and seven assists.
 
Wallace played in 45 career games with 45 career points— 15 career goals and 15 career assists. Wright matched the 45 games with 10 goals and seven career assists.
 
Ahumada, a first-time starter, had five points as a freshman before exploding for 18 goals in her second season. She finished with 20 career goals.
 
Diaz finished her career with 40 games in goal and a 1.15 goals against average. Over two seasons, Diaz was part of 20 shutouts.
 
Reclusado played in 32 games with one goal and two assists. Pena played in 20 games in 2025, scoring 3 goals. Yates played in 43 career games, recording four assists, all in 2025. Reclusado played in 32 games with four career points. Espinosa played in 43 career games, scoring five points, all in 2024, including three assists and a goal.
 
EVC's defense allowed 26 opponent goals this season and posted 11 shutouts.
 
EVC finished the year 16-7-1 and in the third round of the 3C2A Playoffs, tying a program record for wins and producing its deepest playoff run in school history.
